Dirty Money are quite possibly the longest serving band around the South West Music scene. We can't imagine how many people have seen Dirty Money Music over the years, it must be more than what is imaginable.

Formed in 1979 by lead singer Mick Cartwright and bass player Rick Cook, Dirty Money (previously known as 'The Tumbleweed Connection') have worked solidly around the local scene, all across the U.K., Europe and the U.S.A.

Dirty Money Music comes from the desire to pride themselves on playing only the finest Americana music, including songs from Steve Earle, Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, ZZ Top, The Blues Brothers, Brad Paisley, John Denver, Willie Nelson, Eddie Rabbit, J.J. Cale, Bob Seager, Joe Bonamassa ,Clint Black, The Band, Johnny Cash, Soul Asylum, Travis Tritt, Elvis Presley, The Mavericks, Alan Jackson and many, many more.

With a repertoire of almost 1000 songs Dirty Money can perform the full gambit of Americana, from classic good ol' country (from Kenny Rogers to Willie Nelson), through to Southern Rock (from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seager), Honkytonk country (from Brad Paisley to Alan Jackson), classic Rock and Roll (from Elvis Presley to Del Shannon) and some undiscovered gems that you never knew you loved.
